Where Engineering Meets Accessibility

Most people see a doorway; I see a turning radius, a threshold height, and a structural transition. This ACA-compliant home, which I designed this past year, represents the Wheel Adapt philosophy: Independence is built from the ground up. We use this same engineering rigors to vet every power chair and scooter in our collection, ensuring your equipment performs perfectly within the built environment.

Mobility & Design > Standard Limitations

Our logo isn't just a brand—it's a calculation. By combining Construction Engineering Technology with high-performance mobility equipment, we create a result that is greater than the sum of its parts. We solve the physics of movement so you can focus on the freedom of it.

  • Technical Vetting

We don't just curate products; we audit them. With a background in Construction Engineering Technology, our founder, Russell Wood, evaluates every mobility solution through a structural lens. We analyze mechanical durability, chassis strength, and motor torque to ensure that every item in our catalog meets a rigorous technical standard. If it isn’t built to last, it isn't Wheel Adapt approved.

  • Structural Design

Mobility is a relationship between the user and their space. This past year, we focused on the architectural side of independence by designing fully ADA/ACA-compliant residential spaces. We understand how a power chair interacts with a 1:12 slope, zero-threshold entries, and turning radii. We leverage this expertise to ensure your equipment isn’t just a purchase, but a perfect fit for the world you live in.

  • Purpose-Driven Experience

Wheel Adapt L.L.C. was born from a deep personal connection to physical recovery. Following a severe work-related injury, Russell experienced firsthand the thin line between mobility and limitation. That "close call" fueled a mission to provide others with the high-quality, specialized tools necessary to maintain their independence. We know the stakes, and we are dedicated to your movement.
